Everton have rejected a loan offer from West Ham for winger Kevin Mirallas
West Ham are keen to bolster their midfield options having allowed Robert Snodgrass to join Aston Villa on a season-long loan.
Kevin Mirallas has featured four times this season for Everton, but was left out of the matchday squad for last Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Chelsea with manager Ronald Koeman questioning his attitude.
Ronald Koeman said “I don’t know” when asked if Mirallas could leave before the window shuts but we understand that the Blues are open to offers for the Belgium international.
Mirallas’ old club Olympiakos has been in talks with Everton but they have now been ruled out of the race to sign him because the Blues do not want to loan him out.
The forward signed a new three year deal with Everton in May but has struggled to force his way into Koeman’s plans so far this season, having made just two starts.
