Marcus Rashford is keen to form a formidable striking partnership with Romelu Lukaku and says the Belgian has joined Manchester United at the right time in his career.
“He’s gone through a phase in his career now and he’s coming up to his prime years and he has been scoring a lot of goals for the last three or four years,” Rashford said.
“I think he is in a good place in his career and he has probably come here at the right time.”
I think what I can learn from him and what we can learn from each other is when we play together it is getting the relationship off the pitch and bringing it on to the pitch.
“We are still getting to know each other off the pitch and that’s what a team is, we have to get to know each other on and off the pitch.”
Rashford scored 11 goals in all competitions last season but often came off the bench with Zlatan Ibrahimovic playing up front for United.
