Lazio have signed attacking midfielder Davide Di Gennaro from Cagliari.
The 29-year-old AC Milan academy graduate made 20 Serie A appearances for Cagliari last season, scoring twice, a year after helping the Sardinians win promotion.
“S.S Lazio announces that it has agreed a three-year contract with the player Davide Di Gennaro,” a short statement on Aquile’s official website confirmed.
“I’m honoured and proud to have arrived at Lazio,” Di Gennaro told Lazio Style Channel.
“I’ve worked hard to be here and I’m very proud to wear the Biancoceleste shirt. I’ve come to an important club at the right point of my career.
“I’ve worked and suffered a lot at Cagliari in recent months, but this makes all the work I’ve done so far worth it.
“Lazio are one of the best teams in Italy, they showed that last year. This group is of the highest level, I come here with humility to try and carve out a place in the team.
“I’m at the full disposal of the Coach [Simone Inzaghi] and I hope I can help the team.”
