#ThevoiceNigeria Season 2, Episode 2 Recap: More Talents Pass Through The Wringer

share on:

The first episode of #ThevoiceNigeria Season 2 definitely set the ball rolling with brilliant performances that continued in Episode 2. With the blind auditions kicking off from the previous episode, they continued with new talents stepping on stage to show the judges/mentors why they deserve an opportunity on the show.
The talents that graced the stage of the second episode of #ThevoiceNigeria Season 2 came with a lot of energy and an apparent strong desire to move on to the next round. Some of the talents brought their A-game and left the Coaches in awe of their voices and amazing performances.
The first episode saw two performances that saw all four Coaches turn their chairs and the same happened this week! The first Talent to perform on the night was Daniel Diongoli, who was amazing so much so that Coaches Timi and Yemi turned their chairs even before he sang the chorus of the song he was performing. Soon enough, the two other Coaches, Waje and Patoranking pressed the bell and turned their chairs.
The second talent to perform, Kendris Ologidi, also had similar effect as he had Patoranking turning before he could sing the chorus and the other Coaches turning thereafter. This was an indication of how amazing both performances were.
Furthermore, 20-year-old Wilson Odini and 23-year-old Ogunyemi Itunu also gave a good account of themselves, singing at high pitches that left the judges wondering how they could fit their powerful voices into their respective small bodies.
Annie Cedric have an electrifying performance of Asa’s song titled “So Beautiful” and her performance earned her a new description from Waje, who referred to her as “eclectic”, while describing her style as unique.
After a series of beautiful performances by a number of other talents, the show soon wound up but not until the team standings were announced.
#TeamPatoranking had Ogunyemi Itunu and Annie Cedric, #TeamTimi was made up of Daniel Diongoli and Kendris Ologidi, #TeamWaje had Wilson Odini and Paulyn Bob, while #TeamYemi had  Ogechi Iheanacho and Chris Rio to complete the list.
