Werder Bremen have completed the signing of Slavia Prague goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka.
The Bundesliga side announced they had struck a deal for the Czech Republic international on Tuesday.
And on Friday afternoon Pavlenka officially put pen to paper after completing a medical.
The 25-year-old told the club’s official website: “I am very happy to be here. Werder is one of the great German traditions. I believe that this club has a lot of potential.”
Pavlenka fills the void left by Felix Wiedwald, who joined Leeds this afternoon.
