Football’s world governing body, FIFA has confirmed it would not be opening proceedings against Manchester United concerning its £89 million transfer of Pogba.
FIFA asked Juventus and United to provide extra information pertaining to the transfer, after reports emerged that agent Mino Raiola made £41 million from the transfer.
However, FIFA has cleared Manchester United, but has begun proceedings against Juventus.
A FIFA spokesman said: “We can confirm that disciplinary proceedings have been opened against Juventus FC. We cannot confirm further as proceedings are ongoing. We can confirm that no disciplinary proceedings have been opened against Manchester United.”
