Bournemouth are increasingly confident that they are close to agreeing a deal to sign Chelsea defender Nathan Ake.
Southampton and Leicester are also interested in signing the 22-year-old centre-back.
Nathan Ake, valued in the region of £20m, spent the first of last season on loan at Bournemouth before being recalled in January.
Eddie Howe later launched an £18m bid for the Dutch defender that month, which was instantly rejected.
But Bournemouth are now set to snap-up the ex-Watford ace with a £20m-plus offer after missing out on Chelsea legend John Terry.
He is expected to sign a deal with the South Coast club when he returns from his holiday in July.
A source said: “It should be done when the player gets back from his holiday next month.
“Others clubs have been taking a look at him, but Bournemouth look to be in pole position at present.”
