Full-back Fabian Johnson has signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal at Borussia Monchengladbach.
The 29-year-old USA international, who moved to Gladbach from Hoffenheim in 2014, will remain at the club until 2020.
“It’s an amazing feeling to continue being part of this fantastic club,” said Fabian Johnson. “After moving here from Hoffenheim three years ago, my aim was to continue my own development and to play in Europe: I’ve since managed both. From that point of view, I’m very pleased to be able to continue my journey with Borussia.”
Munich-born Johnson, who has won 50 caps for the USMNT, has endured an injury-hit campaign with the Foals, but has still managed to find the net three times in 19 appearances
