Serie A club Torino have asked Manchester City if they can extend Joe Hart‘s loan into next season, according to Tuttosport.
City are reportedly set to reply in the next few weeks. The Italian daily says Hart, who is currently on a season-long loan at the club, has expressed his desire to remain in Turin beyond the current campaign.
The City fan favourite, who turns 30 in a week’s time, has become a big hit at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, despite the Granata conceding more goals than every team besides the bottom two
City will prefer a permanent sale, with Pep Guardiola not viewing Hart as part of his plans, but Torino will not be able to finance such a deal and are hoping to receive the goalkeeper for a second year on loan.
Hart has two years left on his £120,000-a-week City contract and will see his value depreciate sharply in a year’s time if no buyer is found this summer
