Nigerian, Mo Adeniran Wins Season 6 Of The Voice UK

Mo Adeniran, a 21-year-old Nigerian has emerged as the winner of The Voice UK Season 6.

Mo, who was coached by Jennifer Hudson won the competition over fellow contestants, Michelle John, Welsh two-man singing group; Into the Ark and Jamie Miller who was also on Jennifer Hudson’s team.

Mo looked on in shock as he was announced as the winner and his Oscar award winning coach ran to the stage to hug him visibly overrun with emotions.

“Thank you everyone at home, I just want to say thank you to Jennifer and all the coaches. An amazing thank you to the most phenomenal person I have ever met, thank you Jennifer,” He said.

Mo made his way to the title with flawless performances of Iron Sky by Paolo Nutini and Unsteady by X Ambassadors. His performance of Unsteady had his coach struggling to hold back her emotions as she told him teary-eyed “Mo, we feel your heart”. The other coaches as well commended his performance with English musician and The voice coach, Gavin Rossdale adding “You have the voice of a generation”

As winner of The Voice UK, Mo has won a record deal with Polydor Records.
