Jesse Lingard has agreed to sign a new Manchester United contract according to various sources.
It is understood the 24-year-old will sign a four-year deal and his wages will treble to around £100,000-a-week.
Lingard has just over a year left on his current contract and United have been keen to tie him down to a new deal.
Lingard joined United’s Academy when he was seven and he was given his first professional contract in 2011.
Having spent time on loan at Leicester City, Birmingham City, Brighton and Derby, he established himself in the first-team squad last season under Louis Van Gaal.
Lingard said last month that he was in contract discussions and added: “It’s still ongoing. I enjoy playing for Man United and my heart is at Man United.
“You have to battle for your place and it makes you hungrier to train on the training pitch — you know that, when you get your chance, you have to take it.
“It’s always good to have that hunger to try to break into that team.”
