Eriksen has told Chelsea not to consider ruling Tottenham out of the title race, as he insists they’re still very much in it.
Chelsea looked like they were going to win the the EPL without any trouble this season, but an unprecedented home loss to Crystal Palace reduced their lead to seven points.
That could reduce once again as Chelsea host Manchester City today and Tottenham play Swansea.
With nine games left, Eriksen knows Tottenham has their work cut out for them, but believes they’re still contenders.
“On paper we still have a chance,” The Denmark international told Sky Sports.
“But we know there is a lot in-between. Nine games to go, nine very exciting games to go.
“If you lose some you are out of it, if you win some you are right in it. So of course it will be very tight.
“I think we are taking one game at a time, and then we will see. In our world at the moment we are focused on getting closer to Chelsea. We still have a few games to go.”
