#BBNaija Day 72: Marvis Wins The Spin Race Task

share on:

Marvis won the Spin Race Task where they had to first spin using an iron rod and then fetch a tennis ball and run back to the finish line, ahead of the other #BBNaija housemates.

Big brother had earlier tasked the Head of House for the day, Debie-Rise to inform her fellow #BBNaija Housemates to each graffiti a pair of trousers.

Where and how they would use them, was something Biggie said would be revealed after they had completed the Task.

The Housemates soon found out where and how they would use their graffiti trousers and they all seemed to get right into, spending some time before it seemed they had finished working on their trousers.

Biggie then called them into the Arena and told the Housemates to wear the trousers, in readiness for the next Task, the Spin Race.

For the Task, the #BBNaija Housemates were required to first spin a couple of times, using an iron rod placed on their forehead, then run to fetch a tennis ball and run back to the finish line with the ball, either in between their knees, thighs or feet and drop it in a bowl.

At the end of round one, Debie-Rise was the first Housemate to be disqualified. TBoss was disqualified at the end of round two and Biggie informed her that it was said because she used her hands, which was against the rules.

Bisola and Efe were disqualified too at the next round, leaving Marvis as the winner.

After the Task, TBoss confided in Debie-Rise, saying she was saddened by the fact that she was disqualified.

She soon burst into tears as both friends talked about what happened during the Spin wheel task, with TBoss blaming herself for her loss repeatedly asking, “Why did I do something stupid?” Debie-Rise tried her hardest to console her and convince her that it was only a game and somebody had to win.

Debie-Rise’s words seem to fall on deaf ears, as TBoss continued to beat herself up and it took some time before they changed the topic of discussion to something else.
