Arsenal scouts were in Italy to watch Czech midfielder Jakub Jankto for Udinese against Torino, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 21-year-old is reportedly available for £10million and is also on Stoke’s radar.
Jakub Jankto has been with the Serie A club since joining them from Slavia Prague in his native Czech Republic in 2014.
He has since made 21 league appearances for them, while also playing 34 times on loan at Ascoli in Serie B last term.
Jankto revealed last week that he’s got itchy feet – and wants to try his hand in another country.
That could come as good news to Arsenal, West Brom and Stoke, who could all make their move for him during the summer window.
He told TMW: “I want to play abroad, to try some new experience. I’m curious, I want to know other things.
“I certainly do not see myself in Italy too long, certainly not up to 25 years.”
