Tom Cleverley is reportedly one game away from triggering a permanent move from Everton to Watford.
Cleverley is on loan at Vicarage Road until the end of the season, with reports suggesting he is one game away from triggering a clause in his deal which would see him sign permanently in the summer.
Watford defender Craig Cathcart said: “It will be a big addition if he comes in permanently.
“You can see the quality he brings to the team and how he keeps it ticking over in midfield with his work rate. He will be a good signing for the club.”
Tom Cleverley made his eighth appearance for Watford at Crystal Palace, and should he make a ninth before the end of the campaign, his transfer will automatically be made permanent.
Since his arrival for a second loan spell at Vicarage Road, Cleverley has made two assists and created 13 chances in 554 minutes of football, according to Opta.
