Errol Spence Jr has backed Anthony Joshua to take over the mantle of boxing when he faces Wladimir Klitschko.
The American welterweight boxer is in the UK for a press conference on his upcoming fight against Kell Brook to confirm where and when the bout will happen.
Joshua will face Klitschko at Wembley on April 4 and Spence is certain the Brit will knockout the Ukraine heavyweight.
“I watch British boxing when I can,” he told Sky Sports in an exclusive interview before his trip.
“Britain has a lot of great fighters and I think AJ can take over boxing.
“I think he will beat Klitschko in the middle rounds. Klitschko is crafty but AJ is young and strong heavyweight.
“This is his time and it’s time for Klitschko to pass the torch.”
