Barcelona have ramped up their interest in Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin, reports AS.
Catalan club chiefs are already working to improve their squad ahead of next season and one of their main objectives is Bellerin, who left Barca’s youth academy for Arsenal in 2011.
Barca want to re-sign the Spaniard and secure a top-class right-back for the next decade.
The La Liga champions started talks with the player’s camp a few months ago, while AS report sporting director Robert Fernandez has been in London in recent weeks to meet people close to the player.
Manchester City are interested in Bellerin too, while Bayern Munich, who will have to deal with the retirement of Philipp Lahm at the end of the season, may provide competition.
