Atletico forward Kevin Gameiro has received a lucrative offer from China, reports Marca.
Gameiro moved to Atleti last summer after the Spanish club failed to re-sign Diego Costa from Chelsea.
The France international has had a mixed first season at Atleti and could be on the move again at the end of the season.
The former Sevilla man has received a lucrative offer from China and he has informed Atleti officials of the offer so that they can assess it.
Gameiro, who is under contract until 2020, could earn up to €20m a season in China.
This week Kevin Gameiro spoke with ‘El Canal del Fútbo’ on Canal+ about many things such as his French teammate Antoine Griezmann, and the possibility of leaving Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.
the last subject they spoke about was whether Gameiro would leave Atletico for Marseille. The 29-year-old replied that, “it would be very complicated. I played at PSG and I feel like a Parisian. It is very complicated to go to a club like Marseille.”
He also added that he is very happy in LaLiga at present where he hopes to retire, “I feel very good here and I hope to finish my career in Spain.”
