Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Spanish midfielder Adrian Mancebo, reports Marca.
The 20-year-old, who currently plies his trade for Spanish third-tier side San Sebastian de los Reyes, will join Madrid’s reserve side Castilla in June after passing his medical and signing his agreement with the European champions.
Madrid moved quickly to sign the central midfielder as other teams were keen on him. Barcelona were interested in signing him, while Valencia, Sevilla and Fiorentina all made enquiries too.
Both San Sebastian de los Reyes and Getafe will receive some money for training rights, but in no case will Madrid have to pay any money as a transfer fee for a player who is equally comfortable on either side of midfield.
