Monaco star Bernardo Silva has admitted he is flattered by interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, but is happy in Ligue 1 for now.
“Yes I heard [the reports],” he told The Times. “I have no idea if it’s true or not. Of course it’s nice to be associated with that kind of club but I haven’t thought a lot about it.
“One day I would like to play in England or Spain, in one of the best leagues in the world, but for now I’m very happy here.”
Silva’s Monaco side is up against Manchester City for a place in the Champions League quarter-finals tonight, and he can further impress watching admirers with a big-match display.
