France captain Hugo Lloris has praised Kylian Mbappe for not letting the buzz his performances has generated get to his head.
The 18-year-old forward has already scored 19 goals for Monaco this season and has garnered interest from a number of clubs.
Mbappe is now on the precipice of making his first international debut with France and Lloris is pleased with his character.
“He is being talked about everywhere, even in England,” the Tottenham goalkeeper said.
“His performances made a lot of noise, but I find him quite detached and serene in relation to all of that.
“He shows great maturity at his young age. It is true that what he does in Monaco is quite impressive. It’s a good sign for the future.
“If he continues to work and get involved for the team, he has all the qualities to make a great career.”
Such have been his displays, Mbappe has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea.
