Leeds Manager Garry Monk Uncertain About His Future

Garry Monk is still waiting to talk to Leeds’ owners about his future, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Monk’s contract at Leeds runs out in the summer.

Monk has Leeds sitting in fourth spot in the Championship table and has been lauded for his work at the Yorkshire giants.

Monk said: “I haven’t spoken to the club but to be honest, I’m very much focused on the football and getting my team prepared for Friday. My contract runs to the summer so there’s still a lot of time to speak about that situation.”

Garry Monk could be an attractive target for clubs looking for a new manager if Leeds do not tie him down on a deal within the coming months.

Leeds appointed Monk as Steve Evans’ successor last summer, with the former defender returning to management after being sacked by Swansea in December the previous year.
