Harry Redknapp has reportedly applied to be the next manager of Ghana.
The Sun say Redknapp and former Middlesbrough striker Fabrizio Ravanelli are competing for the vacancy.
Redknapp had a two-game spell in charge of the Jordan national side last year.
Redknapp has also managed Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Southampton and QPR and he has previously been in the frame for the England job.
Fabrizio Ravanelli, nicknamed the White Feather, spent the 1996-97 season with Boro and he also played for Derby and Dundee.
The former Juventus striker later coached the Turin club’s youth team before managing French side Ajaccio.
