Antoine Griezmann has praised Jan Oblak’s performance in the match against Bayer Leverkusen, saying he’s the best in the world.
The Atletico Madrid goalkeeper was impressive in the second half, pulling off a triple-save to keep out Julian Brandt and Kevin Voland in the second leg of the goalless draw at the Vicente Calderon.
Oblak has 13 clean sheets this season and 14 in his UCL career since making his debut in 2014-15.
And team-mate Griezmann believes there is no finer player in his position.
“It’s why we say he’s the best goalkeeper in the world,” said the France star. “He proves it in every game and he did so again.”
