Everton are watching Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon, according to the Daily Mirror.
They report that Steve Walsh, Everton’s director of football, was at Craven Cottage at the weekend to watch the 16-year-old, who has been tipped to make it to the top.
Ryan Sessegnon has made 21 appearances to date for Slavisa Jokanovic’s side, scoring four and registering three assists in that time.
A move would certainly make sense as far as Everton are concerned too. Leighton Baines is now 32-years-old and a long-term replacement has so far not stepped forward.
Last month, before Fulham’s FA Cup tie against Tottenham, Fulham’s captain Tom Cairney heaped praise on his teen team-mat
He said: “His mentality is ridiculous. It does not make sense.
“Earlier in the season at Leeds I thought, ‘I don’t know how he is handling it all!’
“He is 16, not even nearly 17, has just done his GCSEs and is playing like he has played 100 games. It does not make sense. He is so fit, has scored four goals — ridiculous from left-back, really.
