Tottenham defender, Ben Davies has signed a contract extension at the White Hart Lane and will remain till 2021.
The left back joined Tottenham from Swansea in 2014 for a fee of £10 million, with his contract to expire in two years.
However after impressing with the squad in the absence of Danny Rose, he has been rewarded with an extension.
“It’s a fantastic club to be a part of at the moment and, with the way we are working on the training pitch and playing in games, I can only see it getting better,” he said.
“If you’d have said this before start of my career, I probably would have been in shock and not believed it.
“But I’ve said before: since the gaffer has come to the club, he has taken us from strength to strength and, as a team, I think it’s shown on the pitch.”
Davies began his career as a Swansea trainee before his move to Spurs, for whom he has made 78 appearances.
