Coleman: We Must Try To Win Without Bale

share on:

Wales will be without talisman Gareth Bale in their next World Cup qualifying fixture, and Coleman believes they must find a way to win in his absence.

Bale was booked for a tackle on O’Shea in the stalemate against Republic of Ireland and will consequently miss the match against Serbia in June.

Coleman will be looking for a win, after a run of four straight draws leaves them in third on the table in the race for Russia 2018.

“You take someone like Gareth Bale out of your team and you are going to miss that,” Coleman said to the Daily Mail.

“We have got to find another way and we will.

“That will be our sixth game in this campaign and we have had Aaron Ramsey for [only] two of them. Joe Allen has missed a couple too.

“But at our best we know we can play against anybody and win.”
