Tony Bellew has said he would like to face Deontay Wilder, a proclamation that has been backed by his promoter, Eddie Hearn.
The WBC cruiserweight champion already has his eyes set on being a two-weight champion, after beating David Haye inside 11 rounds of his heavyweight debut.
Hearn told Bellew post-fight: “If you beat Haye, who professes to be one of the best heavyweights in the world, then Deontay Wilder or Joseph Parker – why not?
“One of the biggest fights in British boxing history [Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko] is April 29 – I believe Britain can have two world heavyweight champions because I believe he can beat Wilder and Parker. Why not?
“People have been writing him off for his whole career.”
