#BBNaija Day 46: One Wedding, Different Tribes

share on:

The #BBNaija Housemates had an interesting wedding in the House today that combined various Nigerian Cultures in fulfillment of the wedding task of the week.

The masters of Ceremony, Bassey particularly felt that the engagement should go down in the book of records as that was the first time in the Big Brother House, where different characteristics of all the different states that make up Nigeria were brought together in one wedding.

Bassey made this known during his joint Diary Session with the father of the Groom, Bally. He made it known that the rich cultural heritage of various tribes infused into the wedding added spice to the event.

The first #BBNaija Housemates to go into the Diary Room immediately after the traditional engagement were the Bride and Groom, Marvis and Efe. The couple were asked to rate their performance, to which the both of them talked positively about.

Big brother teased them by saying “It must have been a real dress rehearsal for future and it sounds like you were both in your ‘home turf’”.

Biggie concluded by saying ” Should we expect something from the two of you outside of the House?” to which the Housemates responded with laughter.

Marvis then added that “We’ll keep you guessing Biggie,” as she giggled.

Marvis went on further to say the engagement went far beyond her expectations, adding that the Bride’s parents, Bisola and ThinTallTony stole the show with their performance.

The friend of the bride, TBoss agreed that their performance as a group was excellent. She went on to say, “For a moment, I forgot it was make-believe.

There were moments where I teared up a bit. The negotiations went well and I’ve actually never witnessed traditional wedding negotiations.”

The rest of the #BBNaija Housemates agreed that they all put up a good performance, saying they couldn’t wait for the wedding reception later on.

It is left to be seen what Big brother would have to say about the overall performance of the #BBNaija housemates after the wedding reception.
