The #BBNaija Housemates have had the privilege of having visitors and day 40 saw the visit of multi-award winning stand-up comedian, AY.
He was warmly welcomed to the House and he soon made it known to the housemates that he started out as Personal Assistant (PA) to the king of Nigerian comedy, Alibaba.
AY told the Housemates how he started from humble beginnings and made his way to becoming Alibaba’s Event Manager before being given an opportunity to open for Alibaba during a show several years ago.
He told the bewildered #BBNaija housemates how he told Alibaba to allow him share his jokes, to which he agreed and even helped him by giving him a few points which he could use to fine-tune his materials to appear as an opening act on one of his shows.
In his comical elements, AY cracked a few jokes with the #BBNaija housemates that had them laughing, especially when he asked who was the last person to use the bathtub, as they took him on a tour around the House.
AY also reminded the #BBNaija housemates that even though winning the cash prize was the main reason they were all in the House, they should also remember to use the exposure the platform provided to show their talents to the world.
AY however didn’t leave the building without taking a number of selfies with the housemates which has come to be a tradition for visitors.
Later in the evening, the Arena games required the #BBNaija housemates to bounce a small, ping-pong ball off a platform and land it in a glass of water before completing an obstacle course that would see them slip down a giant slide, crawl under a net and then stack tyres in order of their colour.
Uriel kicked things off and struggled for some time with the first challenge which resulted in her posting the slowest time of 03:26.
Efe was next, and blazed through the course, while completing every obstacle in just 54 seconds to everyone’s amazement.
ThinTallTony failed to best Efe’s time, even as Marvis posted a quicker time of 01:17 which was the fastest time for any woman for the second week in a row!
Debbie-Rise, TBoss and Bally posted times that were over 30 seconds off Efe’s time, making it seem like he will emerge the winner.
Bassey however powered through the course in just 45 seconds leaving everyone speechless!
Bisola was next and she took a full minute, which had her nursing a knee injury afterwards.
Kemen couldn’t best Bassey’s time, and Bassey was declared winner of the nights Arena games. He picked Debbie-Rise to share in a luxury treat this Sunday.
