West Ham have made an inquiry about signing striker Lucas Perez from Arsenal this summer, according to The Times.
The 28-year-old has started just twice in the Premier League since moving from Deportivo during the summer transfer window, with the Gunners reportedly turning down a £26m bid from the CSL for Perez in January.
Slaven Bilic’s Hammers are not in danger of relegation, but have lacked a distinct cutting edge in front of goal this term as they sit bang in mid-table.
Their top scorer is Michail Antonio on nine goals – and he isn’t even a striker
And according to the Times, Slaven Bilic is a fan of Perez, who has not done too badly when he has scored six goals and created five assists, usually in the Champions League or FA Cup.
