Alexis Sanchez has stated he would very much love to remain in the city of London, but didn’t mention the club.
The Arsenal forward has constantly been linked with a move away from the Emirates stadium, but Gunners want £50 million.
The Chile international does have 15 months left on his contract and does not look keen on signing a renewal.
Sanchez, who is currently on international duty and scored during Chile’s 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Venezuela on Tuesday, told the Publimetro: “I am happy in London and hope to finish my contract there.
“I’d like to stay in the city but with a team that is winning things, that has a winning mentality.
“I’m 28 years old, I still have a lot of years ahead of me. I am a player who looks after himself.”
