“76” Biggest Winner At #AMVCA2017 | See Full List Of Winners

The 2017 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) took place on Saturday, March 4 in Lagos with the movie ’76’ winning big.

With nominations in 14 categories at the #AMVCA2017, ’76’ picked up the Best Costume Designer, Best Actress, Best Art Director, Best Director and Best Overall Movie awards.

Popular Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, won “Best Actress in a Drama (Movie/TV Series)” for the movie “76”.

“It is very important that we teach our children the events that helped shaped this country (Nigeria),” Dominic said on Saturday at the Eko Hotels, venue of the event in Lagos.

The highlight of the night was the AMVCA Industry Merit Award won by Chika Okpala, popularly known Chief Zebrudaya who also got a car gift.

Funke Akindele, with her Jenifa’s Diary also got the awards for Best Actress (Comedy) and Best TV Show.
