Spurs could revive their interest in PSG star Adrien Rabiot after the midfielder suggested he is up for a summer move, according to the Daily Mirror.
“I am under contract until 2019 and I do not think that I am in a rush,” he told French radio station Europe 1. “If there are offers from big clubs, that obviously demands that they are considered.
“Clubs like Real Madrid, they are great clubs but, truly, the most important thing is the present and I am concentrating on what I am doing right now, that is the best thing to do.”
While Tottenham are not quite on the same level as Real Madrid at the moment, he would surely be making a mistake if he did not consider joining Mauricio Pochettino’s men should an offer come in.
Tottenham have made a tremendous amount of progress in recent years and look to be in with a fantastic chance of securing a spot in next season’s Champions League.
Meanwhile, although Rabiot is developing into an excellent player – he has been extremely impressive with PSG this term – a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs could be a gamble as he may not enjoy the kind of first-team football he would perhaps get elsewhere.
