Claudio Ranieri has charged his Leicester City players to play like fighters when they travel to Sevilla, as they look to forget their disastrous season.
Leicester are hanging by a thread above relegation after 25 games in the league and this comes on the back of their surprise EPL title win.
They’ve however been good in the UCL, coming out top of the group that had Porto, FC Copenhagen and Club Brugge. The Foxes will play Sevilla in the round of 16 and have the first leg of that encounter today.
“Will we have the balls?” Ranieri asked the Daily Mail. “I want the matadors. I want the gladiators, I want the soldiers, I want my players.
“It could be the turning point, it could be everything. We can lose, it’s OK, nothing happens. But if we win, if we do a very good game, something inside could change. We need one match like this.
“We play without the pressure of the Premier League, we play light. For this reason I hope we can show our football. They are better than us, but we will fight.”
