Leicester City recently axed Claudio Ranieri as manager of the club and Jose Mourinho has paid tribute to him.
The foxes announced the decision to relieve the 65-year-old Italian of his duties on Thursday evening.
Ranieri led Leicester to an unprecedented title win last season, only for his team to crumble in the 2016-17 season.
The foxes are currently 17th on the table and just one point off of relegation. They’ve also crashed put of all domestic cups.
Mourinho has taken to social media to offer his support to Ranieri.
He wrote: “CHAMPION OF ENGLAND and FIFA MANAGER of THE YEAR.sacked. Thats the new football claudio.keep smiling AMICO.nobody can delete the history you wrote.”
