DeMarcus Cousins Traded To Pelicans For Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans And More

share on:

The New Orleans Pelicans have not been in the playoffs for a while and they’ve made a move on change that with the addition of DeMarcus Cousins.

The deal is yet to be finalised, but the Pelicans are rumoured to send Tyreke Evans, Buddy Hield , Langston Galloway and its 2017 first-round and second-round pick for Cousins and Omari Casspi.

Entering 2016-17, Cousins had three straight seasons averaging more than 22 points and 11 rebounds per night, and he is a double-double threat every time he steps on the floor.

He is definitely a huge steal for the Pelicans as he is also a good player when it comes to defense.

The Pelicans are definitely sure of re-signing him, seeing as he will become a free agent come 2018.
