Hakan Calhanoglu, playmaker for Bayer Leverkusen has denied quotes attributed to him by Fanatik, that he hopes to be a Chelsea player next season.
The Turkish news outlet says the Turkey international is hoping to line up for Chelsea next season.
But in a tweet on Monday, Calhanoglu refuted the article, writing: “I said nothing about Chelsea in the press & didn’t talk to any Turkish journalist — neither about the court decision nor about my future!”
Fanatik also stated Chelsea are looking to sign the 22-year-old attacking midfielder as replacement for Oscar, who moved to the CSL for £60 million.
Calhanoglu objected to Fanatik quoting him as saying: “God willing, I will be a Chelsea player next season.”
