The male #BBNaija housemates turned things up on Valentine’s day as they made and served wholesome breakfast consisting of toast, omelettes, fruits and coffee for the females in bed.
The gesture was a good one especially after the Live Nominations on day 22 that left a sour feeling in the house. The ladies were very much delighted by the gesture as they gave the men hugs and kisses, while 2Face’s monster hit “African Queen” played in the background.
The ladies were soon digging into their meals while they shared stories of how they would celebrate Valentine’s Day, if they were outside the House.
The Valentine’s Day treat continued as the ladies were soon ushered into the lounge with their eyes closed, while the men presented huge bouquet of flowers and treats consisting of berries and grapes to them.
The gifts had some of the ladies shedding tears of joy and everyone exchanging hugs before the commencement of the morning exercises led by ThinTallTony.
The surprises of the day were not about to end as the House mates were treated to a special guest in the form of Ex-Mr Nigeria, Emmanuel Ikubese.
With the Housemates overwhelmed by the surprise guest, Emmanuel made it known to the #BBNaija housemates jokingly that Big Brother had insisted he gave Marvis a massage before giving her a huge hug, as the ladies tried to get his attention.
He also told them that “I think whether or not you win, it’s a platform”, going on to say he had tried a few times to get into Biggie’s House.
The chat was done over a bowl of Garri, as he made it known to the #BBNaija housemates that he wanted to do Big Brother instead of Mr Nigeria but never got the opportunity.
He went on to tell them how he had entered the Mr Nigeria contest and how his career had taken off after his win, with many doors opening up to him.
He made it known to the #BBNaija housemates how amazing the Big Brother platform was, saying the show was not only be watched in Nigeria but all over Africa.
Emmanuel Ikubese went on to explain how he delved into acting and how it was a spinoff of his music career as a DJ.
He answered a number of questions and told the Housemates that he had learnt to handle fame by not seeing himself as bigger than he he really was.
He also reiterated the importance of education, saying it would help the Housemates have something to fall back on later on.
