Manchester United Block Everton’s Loan Deal For Depay As They Only Want To Let Him Go Permanently

Out-of-favour Manchester United winger Memphis Depay will only be allowed to join Everton in a permanent deal this month, according to The Sun.

The 22–year-old Dutchman has been frozen out by United boss Jose Mourinho, perking the interest of Everton boss Ronald Koeman.

The Sun claim Koeman would like to take Memphis on loan before committing to a permanent deal.

However, with United keen to recoup the £25m they paid PSV for him in 2015, it is understood they will only let him leave on a permanent basis.

Depay turned down the chance of a switch to Fenerbache in the hope of staying in the Premier League

But United want as much as possible of their £25m outlay on him and will refuse a loan deal – especially to a close rival.
