Anwar El Ghazi had a fractious relationship with Ajax, but that has come to an end, as he has completed his switch to Lille.
The Netherlands player joined Ajax from Feyernoord. He developed into a first team player at Ajax, but fell out with coach Peter Bosz and was relegated to Jong Ajax.
His time at Netherlands has come to an end as he has signed a contract with Lille until June 2021.
“I am very happy to be at LOSC,” El Ghazi commented on his move.
“I had a very good feeling about this club ever since we started talks. I cannot wait to get started.
“I know that [Patrick] Kluivert and Eden Hazard played here. They are big names and that proves Lille are a big club.”
Lille sit 11th in the Ligue 1 table with 26 points from 22 games following their 2-1 win over Lyon at the weekend.
