Borussia Dortmund striker Adrian Ramos has moved on loan to Granada.
The 31-year-old, who is expected to move to China in the summer, joins the Spanish side for the remainder of the season.
Borussia Dortmund have also reached an “agreement in principle” with Chinese club Chongqing Lifan over a permanent transfer for the 30-year-old in the summer
“I would have liked to keep him, and regret it,” Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel said.
“Adrian Ramos expressed his desire to leave in every transfer period. It’s different being the number two striker at his age than at a younger age.
“With a heavy heart, we’ve accepted his wish, but his decision for more playing time is understandable. Auba will come back soon, and he’s our starter. We’ll have other options until then.”
Ramos joined Dortmund in 2014 but has appeared mainly as a substitute, scoring 19 goals in 75 appearances
