Manchester United have reportedly decided to keep Ashley Young this month.
The 31-year-old had been linked with a move away from Old Trafford due to a lack of regular playing time.
But the Manchester Evening News say Jose Mourinho has “no intention” of letting Young leave after Memphis Depay’s move to Lyon.
Ashley Young was open to a loan move due to his lack of game-time but United’s squad has been reduced to 25 following Memphis’ and Morgan Schneiderlin’s departures and Young is the only specialist left winger available to Mourinho.
West Brom, Swansea, Everton and Young’s former club Watford all registered interest in the midfielder, who ruled out a move to the Chinese Super League.
