Michail Antonio is set to sign a new long-term contract worth £70,000-a-week, doubling his current wage, according to The Guardian
The five-and-a-half-year deal comes as reward for a fine campaign – Antonio has scored eight Premier League goals so far this season.
Interest from Chelsea has reportedly prompted West Ham to act now to secure Antonio’s long-term future.
Michail Antonio has already matched his goal scoring tally from last season and also provided all three assists for West Ham in the 3-0 victory at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
West Ham are also hopeful of striking a deal to sign Brentford’s Scott Hogan, having seen three bids rejected for the 24-year-old.
