Crystal Palace are the latest club linked to Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho.
Sakho has told he has no future on Merseyside and is expected to leave this month.
According to the Daily Mail, Sam Allardyce has entered the race for the out-of-favour Frenchman, who is also a target for West Ham, Southampton and Sevilla.
Allardyce wants to strengthen his defence but Sakho’s wages – reportedly £100,000-a-week – could be a problem for Palace.
Sakho was banished to play with Liverpool’s Under-23s in the autumn after he took to Snapchat to criticise how he had been treated by the club – he was sent home early from the pre-season tour of America for disciplinary reasons and was never able to win Klopp over.
