Ex-Man City defender Martin Demichelis could return to his first club River Plate in January, says Ole.
The 35-year-old left City to join Espanyol on a free transfer last summer, but he has barely figured for the La Liga club this term.
As such, he is considering leaving Catalonia in January and Argentine publication Ole reports that River Plate are interested in bringing him back to Buenos Aires.
Espanyol coach Quique Sanchez Flores prefers a central pairing of Diego Reyes and David Lopez, which has seen Demichelis manage just two appearances.
Rubén Duarte and Víctor Álvarez also do not count for the Madrid coach.
It could mean all three players will move on in January.
