Chelsea have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule.

Recent reports in national newspapers have claimed the German international is Antonio Conte’s main target next month.
But the Bundesliga club will rebuff all offers.
Scouts from the Premier League leaders have been closely monitoring his performances during the first-half of the season and have been encouraged by what they have seen.

Sule earned his first call-up to the national team in August where he played 59 minutes in a friendly clash against Finland.
