Paris Saint-Germain are leading the race to sign Julian Draxler from Schalke ahead of Arsenal and Juventus, according to Le Parisien.
The 23-year-old, valued at around £30m, was booed by Wolfsburg supporters as he came on as a sub in the weekend defeat by Hertha.
The Ligue 1 champions have struggled so far and need a boost for the final months of the season.
The 23-year-old’s attitude both on and off the pitch has also come into question with Wolfsburg willing to listen to any offers of around £30million.
The player was also booed by his own supporters when he came on as a substitute in the 3-2 defeat against Hertha Berlin on Saturday as relationship between player and club hit rock bottom.
And according to French publication Le Parisien, PSG have stolen a march on the rest of their rivals having a €30m bid accepted for the midfielder whilst Arsenal have also joined the chase.
Draxler will now hold talks with the French giants over a potential January transfer.
But Arsene Wenger will be hoping Arsenal’s strong German contingency will be enough to tempt Draxler into a move to the Emirates.
The Gunners have been linked with Draxler on numerous occasions and even launched a £43m bid for him in the summer.
