Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and both Manchester clubs sent scouts to watch Porto striker Andre Silva at the weekend, according to reports in A Bola.
The posse of Premier League sides are all understood to be pondering bids for the Portugal international.
Silva, 21, has a contract at the Estadio Dragao until the summer of 2012.
The 21-year-old striker has scored seven goals in 12 Liga NOS appearances and assisted two this season. He’s also been capped four times for Portugal and scored four goals.
Andre is contracted with Porto until 2021 and his release clause is a whopping €60m.
Newcastle United and Southampton also had representatives at the match as interest in the Portugal international continues to rise.
