Antonio Conte is targeting Genoa wideman Diego Laxalt, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Chelsea boss is keen to bolster the Premier League leaders’ squad and is reported to have set his sights on bringing the 23-year-old to Stamford Bridge.

The Uruguayan only signed for Genoa on a permanent basis in July, but it is understood the Serie A side would be willing to sell at the right price.

Diego Laxalt’s agent Vincenzo D’Ippolito admitted Conte’s interest and claims the Italian side would sell at the correct price.”Genoa believe in him, but they are always open to selling their players for the right offer,” D’Ippolito said. “Conte scouted Diego Laxalt when he was in Italy and he’s love him at Chelsea now.”
